Reber, or “Coach Paul” as he’s known, is a native of Kamloops, British Columbia. He was the 1991 Canadian Junior Doubles Champion and the 1992 Canadian Junior Singles Champion. He played collegiately at Arizona State University, where he was a four-year letter winner. Reber also served as an assistant tennis coach for 10 years at ASU, where he received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science and history. Most recently, he served as the Director of Tennis for the Eugene Swim and Tennis Club. Prior to that, Reber served eight years as the University of Oregon’s Head Coach for Women’s Tennis.
